I cannot recommend PODS . Their customer service is friendly and helpful when you start the whole process but ultimately it will be the most expensive choice for moving you could possibly make. I started out confident things would go smoothly with my move, however, the driver arrived 2 hours before their delivery window and I could not be there and due to my apartment complexes regulations I could not have the PODs pod delivered close to my home (it ended up being 1/4 mile away). When I tried to cancel and return the pod, they told my I would be charged for it and the 1st month's storage rental anyway so I stayed with it and have subsequently been billed 2 times in 1 month for a 1 month storage fee and now they tell me they cannot deliver my pod to my new place until Jan. 2 a full 17 days after I scheduled the delivery (they said to allow for 11 days). They said due to the holidays the delivery will take longer and I have to pay for another month (maybe 2 months the way things have been going) of "storage". So now I am out an extra $300 dollars that I cannot afford. The whole thing is now costing me more than $4000. At least with other companies prorate the rent if not used and at least one is almost 1/3 less than PODS cost for storage rent. It sucks to pay for an entire month's rent when it will only be less than a week over, AND there is a delay that is NOT MY FAULT. I hate the holidays, I hate PODS, I wish I had never heard of PODS and had to put up with this shady shit.
