Customer Service - Exec Mgt Knows Nothing About It


I spent nearly an hour on hold for cust svc to arrange delivery of my PODS from storage. I went through all the delivery planning with the rep and was disconnected at the very end when I thought we were done. A week later I discovered that nothing was scheduled. The cust svc notes stated we were cut-off. We were done! I asked why he didn't call me back, if there was a problem --- it's because their cust svc reps can't call out. He could have sent me an e-mail, but did nothing. I was charged for another month and had to go through scheduling again. Now they say they'll have me go through an account review for the charges ---- burning more of my time.

It's standard practice for cust svc reps today to call back when cut-off given that it's not unusual with cell phones. In addition, e-mail a customer, if there's an issue and a transaction can't be completed. Given that PODS lacks these basic practices in the business environment, don't use them. The company wil react when profits decline. Make it hurt!
