PODS is a garbage company
I used this service to move the contents of my apartment from one city to be stored at another when I was in between jobs. The first part went smoothly, but when I just called to schedule delivery to my new apartment, things quickly got ugly. PODS is a franchise company so if you move somewhere between two locations, they will charge you 3-4 times the delivery costs because you have to close one account and open another one. They wanted to charge me $1000 to move 100 miles. Also said "had you called yesterday, you would've saved $200 in monthly charges." I spent 2 hours on the phone, it was a terrible ordeal. I'm using Uhaul to move my stuff, which is what I should've done in the first place. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.
